Educated at Harvard College and Harvard Law School, Les Parrette is considered one of the best business lawyers of his generation. He began his legal career with leading firms in Boston and Kansas City, rising to senior partner and department leadership roles during his 14-year tenure in private practice. For the next 20 years, Les moved in-house where he served as Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel, Chief Internal Auditor, Corporate Secretary, Compliance Officer, Chief Information Technology Officer, and in other executive capacities for leading industrial companies such as Westinghouse Electric Supply (electrical product distribution), Novelis (aluminum production, recycling and fabrication), and Aquila (power generation, natural gas transport, retail electric and gas distribution, and energy trading).
Les also serves as an independent director of Innopec Inc. (a NASDAQ-listed publicly held specialty chemicals manufacturer) and Deputy Vice Chairman of the Board of the Burton Awards for achievement in the legal profession. In making the transition from private practice (where words are king) to an in-house executive (where the language of business, financial performance and process flows are paramount), Les realized the need to alter how he talked about business law and rendered legal advice. In short, legal advice needed to be as easy to understand as it is to use, say, a map of New York City. These are the underpinnings of One Page Thinking, and it has worked in countless professional and business environments since OPT's inception.
Tom helped found One Page Thinking in 2003 and brings experience as a corporate generalist and business specialist. Tom is the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Skyline Renewables and previously served as Senior Corporate Counsel for Vestas-American Wind Technology, Inc. Tom received a Juris Doctorate from St. Louis University and a Masters of Law from New York University.
Mike joined One Page Thinking in July 2020 and brings experience as a diagramming expert. Mike previously served as a financial analyst for Home Depot, an Intellectual Property Specialist at a global law firm, and a Senior Legal Manager for a global aluminum fabrication company. Mike is a certified public accountant and received Bachelor of Science and Master of Accounting degrees from North Carolina State University.

Liade holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri at Columbia, with an emphasis in in Marketing, as well as a Certificate in Human Resources Management. Laide works full time as a partner growth associate in the Austin, Texas office of Expedia, an online travel and technology company, operating digital platforms that provide hotel bookings, airline reservations, vacation rentals, car rentals, cruises, travel packages, and travel-management services.
Ryan AzadiBusiness Research Director and Content Developer
Ryan is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems at Kennesaw State University, where he recently completed his third year of study. Ryan brings a strong interest in the intersection of technology and business strategy to his work with OPT.

Vedant joined the team in June 2026. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics, with a minor in Computer Science, at Tufts University, where he has completed his first year of study.

Born and raised in Napa, California, he moved to New York City to fully commit to his academic goals and gain real-world, hands-on experience. Ashi holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Ashi works full time as a product engineer as Steelcase, a global designer and manufacturer of furniture for offices, hospital and patient care facilities, and educational institutions.

Fernando is pursuing a bachelors degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University. Fernando is a dual resident of Maturin, Venezuela, and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Daniel is pursuing a master’s degree from the Westminster Theological Seminary. He received a law degree from Emory Law School and a bachelor’s degree from Handong Global University. Daniel has practiced law at Freshfields and Ropes & Gray in New York City, and he presently serves as a College and Worship Pastor at Crosswalk English Ministry IN2 Church. Daniel is fluent in English, French and Korean.

Young joined One Page Thinking in May 2023. He received his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn University School of Law in June 2025. Young also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Soongsil University in South Korea and a Master's degree in Psychology from New York University. Young recently passed the New York state bar examination. He is fluent in Korean and English.
